“ I bet as the media begins to interview the onlookers (for the lack of a better less profane word) they will claim that it appeared consensual(sp.) and that they had no idea what was happening beyond this drunk party chick acting as a pinata. I imagine that people will analyze the situation with words like “mob mentality”. Everyone will shake their heads and wonder why. They’ll try to remove the responsibility from the onlookers and there’ll be warnings to young girls about drinking and going to parties and making out with young men. And someone will inevitabley suggest that there is more to the story and of course that she wanted it and is crying rape to cover it up. But no-one will say “what is happening to our boys?” or “Boys need to stop drinking and partying” or “Boys need to understand NO” or “Boys and Men need to take responsibility for themselves and their sexual behaviour”. Soceity fail.
